Business Performance Group
has a variety of courses, some are offered for credit and others
are not. When you register for a credit course, you agree to file
a Butler application for admission and receive a letter grade
based on the following grade policy:
Your grade will be based on the completion of course assignments
made by the instructor, as well as the instructor's assessment
of the level of ability with which you complete these assignments
(guided practice, exercises, lesson reviews, and other hands-on
activities).
You earn an A when: You demonstrate exceptional ability,
as assessed by the instructor, in completing all of the assigned
work.
You earn a B when: You demonstrate above average/very
good ability, as assessed by the instructor, in completing all
of the assigned work.
You earn a C when: You demonstrate average/good ability,
as assessed by the instructor, in completing at least 80% of the
assigned work.
You earn a D when: You demonstrate below average/poor
ability, as assessed by the instructor, in completing at least
60% of the assigned work.
If you complete less than 60% of the assignments made by the
instructor, regardless of your demonstrated ability, you will
receive an F for the class.
NOTE: If you are failing the class because you must miss the
last half of the course, then you may choose to withdraw from
the course or take an incomplete. If you take an incomplete, you
must attend the remaining portion of the course - when and if
space is available. (An incomplete turns to an F after six weeks;
however, grades can be changed after you complete the class.)
If your schedule will not
permit you to attend the entire class, you should call for dates
that will better fit your schedule.
